Description: Abreva® Cold Sore Treatment Cream is clinically proven to help heal cold sores fast and reduce symptoms such as pain, burning, itching, and tingling.
Formulated with Docosanol 10%, Abreva works by penetrating deep into the skin to block the virus that causes cold sores from entering healthy cells. It helps form a protective barrier to prevent the spread of infection and promote faster healing.
Directions (Adults & Children 12+):
- Wash hands before and after application; Apply to the affected area of the face or lips five times daily until the sore is healed (up to 10 days).
- Begin treatment at the first sign of tingling or redness for best results. For external use only.
- Do not use in children under 12 years unless directed by a physician.
Medicinal Ingredient: Docosanol 10%
Non-Medicinal Ingredients: (alpha) benzyl alcohol, light mineral oil, propylene glycol, sucrose distearate, sucrose stearate, water.
Warnings:
- Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
- Discontinue use and consult a doctor if skin irritation develops or worsens.
- Do not use if allergic to Docosanol or any listed ingredients.
- Do not share this product — cold sores are contagious.
- Keep out of reach of children.
