Description: Canesten® 1-Day Combi-Pack with Comfort-Tab is a fast and effective treatment for vaginal yeast infections. This convenient 1-day therapy includes one 500 mg clotrimazole vaginal tablet for internal treatment and a 10 g tube of 1% clotrimazole cream to relieve external itching, burning, and discomfort.
Uses: Treats vaginal yeast infections & Relieves external symptoms including itching, burning, and discharge
Directions (Adults & Children 12+):
- Vaginal Tablet: Insert one tablet high into the vagina at bedtime using the enclosed applicator.
- External Cream: Apply a small amount to the irritated external area once or twice daily as needed, for up to 7 days. Wear breathable cotton underwear to help prevent re-infection.
Active Ingredients: Clotrimazole 500 mg (vaginal tablet) & Clotrimazole 1% (external cream)
Inactive Ingredients: Vaginal Tablet: calcium lactate, colloidal silicon dioxide, crospovidone, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, lactic acid, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, maize starch; Cream: benzyl alcohol, cetostearyl alcohol, cetyl esters wax, octyldodecanol, polysorbate 60, sorbitan monostearate, purified water.
Warnings & Precautions: Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you:
- Are at increased risk of STIs, have multiple partners, or frequently change partners
- Have diabetes
- Experience recurring symptoms within 2 months
- Have never had a yeast infection before
- Are pregnant, breastfeeding, or trying to conceive
- Experience abdominal/back pain, fever, vomiting, chills, or foul-smelling discharge
Do not use tampons, douches, spermicides, or other vaginal products during treatment.
Clotrimazole may temporarily reduce the effectiveness of latex condoms and diaphragms.
Stop use and seek medical help if:
- No improvement after 3 days
- Symptoms persist after 7 days
- Worsening pain, fever, foul-smelling discharge, rash, or new irritation occurs
If swallowed, contact a poison control centre immediately.
