Description
Description: Robax Platinum is formulated for fast, effective relief from back and muscle pain, tense neck muscles, and strains or sprains. Each caplet combines ibuprofen to relieve pain and methocarbamol to relax tense muscles, helping you get back to normal comfort and movement.
Uses: For effective relief of pain associated with muscle spasm, such as:
- Back pain
- Tense neck muscles
- Strains and sprains
Dosage (Adults 18+): Take 1 or 2 caplets every 4–6 hours, as needed. *Do not exceed 6 caplets in 24 hours unless directed by a physician.
Medicinal Ingredients: Ibuprofen – 200 mg; Methocarbamol – 500 mg
Non-medicinal Ingredients: Colloidal silicon dioxide, copovidone, FD&C Blue No. 2, ferric oxide (red), hypromellose, methylcellulose, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, sodium starch glycolate, stearic acid.
Warnings & Cautions: This product may cause stomach bleeding. Symptoms may include feeling faint, vomiting blood, or black/bloody stools. The risk is higher if you:
- Are 60 years or older
- Have a history of stomach ulcers or bleeding
- Take blood thinners, steroids, or other NSAIDs (ASA, naproxen, etc.)
- Consume 3+ alcoholic drinks per day while using this product
Severe allergic reactions may occur, especially in people allergic to ASA.
Stop use and seek medical help if you experience: Severe itching, hives, swelling of eyes or mouth; Skin blisters, or difficulty breathing
Do not use if:
- You are allergic to ibuprofen, methocarbamol, ASA, salicylates, or other NSAIDs
- You are about to undergo or have just had heart surgery
- You are in your third trimester of pregnancy
Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you:
- Have ulcers, stomach bleeding, high blood pressure, heart, liver, or kidney disease, or diabetes
- Take medication for depression, sedatives, daily low-dose ASA, or any prescription drugs
- Are trying to conceive, in early pregnancy, or breastfeeding
When using this product:
- Take with food or milk if stomach upset occurs
- May cause drowsiness, dizziness, or nausea — avoid driving, alcohol, or operating machinery
- Risk of heart attack or stroke may increase with misuse or prolonged use
Stop use and ask a doctor if:
- Signs of stomach bleeding appear
- Pain lasts more than 5 days or worsens
- Any new symptoms develop
Keep out of reach of children: in case of overdose, call a poison control centre or doctor immediately.
