Recommended Use: Adults: Take 1 tablet up to three times daily with a full glass of water, with or without food, or as directed by your health-care practitioner.
Medicinal Ingredients: Heme Iron Polypeptide – 11 mg (Elemental Iron)
Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, Croscarmellose sodium, Silicon dioxide, Calcium stearate, Polyvinyl alcohol, Povidone, Polyethylene glycol, Talc, FD&C Yellow No. 5 Al Lake, FD&C Blue No. 2 Al Lake, Titanium dioxide.
Cautions & Warnings:
- Keep out of reach of children. Accidental overdose of iron-containing products can cause serious or fatal poisoning in children under 6. If an overdose occurs, call a doctor or poison control centre immediately.
- Consult your doctor before use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have hemochromatosis, other types of anemia, or digestive disorders.
- Avoid combining with other iron supplements or medications unless directed by a health-care professional.
- Iron can reduce the absorption of certain drugs (e.g., tetracyclines, quinolones, levodopa, levothyroxine). Space doses apart by at least 2 hours.
- May interfere with some lab tests — inform your health-care provider if you are taking this product.
