Medicinal Ingredient (per tablet): Iron (Heme Iron Polypeptide): 11 mg Elemental Iron
Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Isomalt, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Croscarmellose Sodium, Magnesium Sulfate, Carnauba Wax, Ethyl Cellulose, Silicon Dioxide, Iron Oxide (Fe₂O₃)
Cautions and Warnings: Keep out of reach of children. Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6 years. If an overdose occurs, contact a doctor or poison control centre immediately.
Consult a healthcare professional prior to use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have hemochromatosis, anemia of other causes, repeated blood transfusions, or gastrointestinal conditions.
Drug Interactions: Iron may decrease the absorption of certain medications (e.g., tetracyclines, quinolones, levothyroxine, levodopa, penicillamine, cefdinir, chloramphenicol). Space doses apart by several hours.
Known Adverse Reactions: Mild digestive upset such as constipation, diarrhea, nausea, or stomach discomfort may occur. Iron may darken stools, which is harmless. Serious allergic reactions are rare but possible.
