Dosage
- Infants & Children (≤ 3 years): 0.25 – 0.5 tsp (15 – 30 mg elemental iron) once daily, or as directed by a health care practitioner.
- Children (4 – 13 years): 0.25 – 0.5 tsp (15 – 30 mg elemental iron) once daily.
- Adolescents & Adults (14 + years): 0.5 – 0.75 tsp (30 – 45 mg elemental iron) once daily.
Dissolve powder in a small amount of water or mix with soft foods or cereals. Take with food, a few hours before or after other medications or supplements.
Medicinal Ingredients: 15 mg Elemental Iron (as polydextrose-iron complex)
Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Grape & Raspberry Flavouring | Maltodextrin | Sucralose
Warnings:
- Keep out of reach of children — contains enough iron to seriously harm a child.
- Doses > 35 mg/day may cause constipation, diarrhea, or vomiting.
- Consult your health care practitioner before use if pregnant, breastfeeding, or if you have peptic ulcer, regional enteritis, or ulcerative colitis.
- Stop use and seek medical advice if nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, hematemesis, or hypersensitivity occurs.
